How I Can Help You
In my role as Data Services Coordinator I act as "data concierge" to provide advice on data management and refer users to data or other data experts and resources.
For students, I can:
- Answer your questions via email, phone or in-person
- Recommend data sources and tools to assist you in your research projects
- Meet with you individually to hash out your topic or discuss research strategies
- Tell you about library services, specifically those related to finding or managing data
For faculty, I can:
- Consult with you about data management best practices, services and resources
- Assist with developing a data management plan
- Introduce your students to data research tools and strategies
- Create a webpage tailored to your class assignment (example: ATM S 212)
- Discuss ways to best incorporate research skills and library materials into your class assignments
- Purchase books and other material needed for your research
- Act as a liaison communicating your concerns and needs to library administration
