Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies (REECAS) 

This guide provides an overview of resources at the UW Libraries and beyond for Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies, the interdisciplinary, mostly social science-based study of the countries of the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.  For guides to resources pertaining to Slavic Languages and Literatures or Baltic Studies as humanities disciplines, see those separate UW Libraries subject guides.

The UW Libraries' REECAS collections number nearly a half million books, journals, microfilm titles, films on DVD and video, sound recordings and other formats.  The REECAS collection grows by thousands of new titles each year.  Most materials are housed in Suzzallo and Allen Libraries.  See the UW catalog for exact locations of individual items.
