More about Amanda
Amanda is the Geography Librarian and the Teaching & Learning Program Librarian for the University Libraries.
Amanda coordinates the Odegaard Undergraduate Library education program and chairs the University Libraries Teaching & Learning Group. Amanda provides research workshops for students, faculty and librarians, and works with undergraduate education initiatives at the University. Amanda is the liaison to the Department of Geography.
Amanda is also a staff member of the Center for Teaching & Learning and an Honors Librarian.
Amanda's research interests include technology in higher education, student learning outcomes, and active learning classrooms and she has presented and published on new media and pedagogy for academic librarians. Before coming to the UW, she was the Media & Technology Studies Librarian at the UWB/CCC Campus Library.
Amanda welcomes consultations from students and faculty!
