About the Chamber Dance Company

The six-member Chamber Dance Company, composed of candidates for the Master of Fine Arts degree in dance at the University of Washington, is the first professional dance company to be in residence at the UW. Founded in 1990 by Hannah C. Wiley, the CDC has become a favorite of Seattle audiences. The CDC’s mission is to present and preserve works of historical and artistic significance. Each year’s program is selected for its educational as well as theatrical value.
