Researching Family History

Welcome to the library webpage for HSTAA 101, Survey of the History of the United States. This page brings together many of the databases that you will need to use for your family history project along with some explanatory information on various types of primary sources. There is an additional tab for use during the library workshops for English 198, the writing link class.
Additional history resources can be found on the general History subject guide.
Most of the databases on this page are restricted to UW students, staff and faculty. These are marked with a lock
. To connect to these databases from home you will need to first click on the Off-Campus Access button in the upper-right hand corner and login with your UWnetid.
