Welcome!

Welcome to the Subject Guide for Fisheries. These pages provide access to resources - article databases, catalogs, reference books, web sites - on marine and freshwater fisheries, marine biology, limnology, and aquaculture.

For subject guides in other areas of study, see the complete list here.

Getting Started

It's easy to get started doing research at the UW Libraries. Here are some things to know:
1. Your Husky Card is your library card.
2. Books and journals have unlimited renewals (unless requested by another user.)
3. The Libraries' home page is www.lib.washington.edu.
4. If you are not on campus, you can connect to the Libraries' subscription databases and ejournals (restricted to UW students, faculty and staff) by logging in to the red outlined box on every library Web page with your UW NetID and password. The outline turns green.
