    Research center who's mission it is to explore and understand cyberspace; to study its development, dynamics, norms, and standards; and to assess the need or lack thereof for laws and sanctions.
  • CITASA: Communication and Information Technologies Section of the American Sociological Association  
    Part of the American Sociological Association, CITASA look at social aspects of computing, the Internet, new media, computer networks, and other communication and information technologies.
  • Center for Digital Democracy  
    A national not-for-profit org, CDD promotes "an electronic media system that fosters democratic expression and human rights." Interests include diverse ownership of new media, privacy, etc.
